Wall Art Guide: Canvas, Posters & Choosing a Size
JHNY ART offers made-to-order canvas wall art and art posters. This guide helps you compare formats, choose a size and find a collection. For the exact materials, dimensions and options of a piece, check its product page.
Should I choose canvas or a poster?
Browse canvas wall art if you are considering a canvas piece, or art posters if you are planning a poster display. Check the framing options and what is included on the individual product page. The same artwork may have separate canvas and poster listings, so confirm the format before ordering.
How do I choose a size?
- Measure the wall area and any furniture below it.
- Choose a size offered on the artwork's product page, then mark that rectangle on the wall with removable paper or suitable tape.
- Step back to your normal viewing position. Check the balance with furniture, shelves and surrounding artwork.
- Confirm the width, height and orientation before ordering. Use the product's dimensions rather than judging size from a room photo.
For several pieces together, plan the full arrangement, including the gaps, before selecting the individual sizes.
Where should I start with style and color?
For artwork focused on color and form, explore abstract canvas art or abstract posters. For light, landscape and everyday scenes, explore Mediterranean canvas art or Mediterranean posters. For fruit, flowers, tables and household objects, browse still life canvas art or still life posters.
Choose a color already present in the room for a connected look, or a contrasting color if you want the artwork to stand out. These are starting points; choose the piece you enjoy looking at.
What does made to order mean?
Your piece is produced after you order it. Production and delivery are separate stages. See the shipping policy for current production estimates and delivery information, and check your destination at checkout.
Where can I check returns or ask for help?
Review the returns, refunds and cancellations policy before ordering. If you need help with a format, size or time-sensitive delivery, email hello@jhny-art.com before making your purchase.
